DISCIPLINARY RULES IN COLLEGE
- Mobiles are not allowed in class rooms and labs. Mobiles are allowed inside girls and
boys common rooms only. If at all any students is having mobile in classroom or in lab,
it should be in SWITCH OFF mode. If any student found guilty in such cases, the
mobile handset will be confiscated. A fine of Rupee 50/- will be levied in first instance
and rupees 500/- will be levied in IInd instance and IIIrd time restricted to attend the
classes till further orders. - Student uniform is compulsory on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The
uniform relaxation is given on Wednesday and Saturday. A student found without
uniform will be levied with a fine of Rs. 50/-. - Any student, who will be absent from classes & practical’s for consecutive three days
will have to call his/her parents or he/she will not be able to attend further classes or
practical. - Student absent for consecutive seven days without prior information or without any
logical reason his name will be remove from the admission register. His/ her name will
be re-entered in admission register after paying Rs. 2000/- as the admission fees. - Any student found misbehaving with a faculty will be suspended from classes and
practicals for seven. She/he will be levied with fine of Rs. 5000/- and will remain
suspended from classes and practical’s till further orders. - Students having an attendance less than 80% in first and second sessional, she/he will
not be able to sit in sessional examination. - Students having an attendance less than 80% (theory and practical) in the current
session will not be eligible to fill university examination form. - Students are required to collect all the requirements of practical’s one day prior to the
practical, if any student did not bring all the requirement of the practical will not be able
to attend the practical. - Students are not allowed to move outside during college timings, if any student found
guilty a fine of Rs. 50/- will be levied per day.
Rules for Promotion in Next Higher Class
- A student shall be eligible to carry forward all the courses of I, II and III semesters till the
IV semester examinations. However, he/she shall not be eligible to attend the courses of
V semester until all the courses of I and II semesters are successfully completed. - A student shall be eligible to carry forward all the courses of III, IV and V semesters till
the VI semester examinations. However, he/she shall not be eligible to attend the courses
of VII semester until all the courses of I, II, III and IV semesters are successfully
completed. - A student shall be eligible to carry forward all the courses of V, VI and VII semesters till
the VIII semester examinations. However, he/she shall not be eligible to get the course
completion certificate until all the courses of I, II, III, IV, V and VI semesters are
successfully completed. - A student shall be eligible to get his/her CGPA upon successful completion of the courses
of I to VIII semesters within the stipulated time period as per the norms specified in 26. - A lateral entry student shall be eligible to carry forward all the courses of III, IV and V
semesters till the VI semester examinations. However, he/she shall not be eligible to
attend the courses of VII semester until all the courses of III and IV semesters are
successfully completed. - A lateral entry student shall be eligible to carry forward all the courses of V, VI and VII
semesters till the VIII semester examinations. However, he/she shall not be eligible to get
the course completion certificate until all the courses of III, IV, V and VI semesters are
successfully completed. - A lateral entry student shall be eligible to get his/her CGPA upon successful completion
of the courses of III to VIII semesters within the stipulated time period as per the norms
specified in 26. - Any student who has given more than 4 chances for successful completion of I / III
semester courses and more than 3 chances for successful completion of II / IV semester
courses shall be permitted to attend V / VII semester classes ONLY during the
subsequent academic year as the case may be. In simpler terms there shall NOT be any
ODD BATCH for any semester.
Note: Grade AB should be considered as failed and treated as one head for deciding
academic progression. Such rules are also applicable for those students who fail to register
for examination(s) of any course in any semester.
